This is a question that I'm curious to hear answers on. I typically smoke weed when I get on this website and end up chatting. When I'm high and browsing I sometimes get questions that come to my mind that I would like to hear the community's thoughts on.

When I write personal messages (yes, that's what I'm talking about), I find that I speak from either a second or first person speech perspective. This help me fine tune the narrative that I'm imagining while I'm typing. I came to this way of typing after spending about one month browsing this site once per night. It helps me to be more direct with what I say, and I think it's coming out in how I've changed my typing styles here.

Same here. I call my style "The Looney Tunes" method: If it's a good post, it's easy to imagine it being spoken aloud by Wile E. Coyote, but if it's not so good then picturing it being read aloud by Foghorn Leghorn is a better fit.

Outside of using the honorific of "chief" a lot, my writing style is a jumbled mess of everything the grand ol' thought-organ has absorbed over the years of reading esoteric Elder Scrolls lore and enough internet crap to drive some men mad.
But one could say that's everyone, since we're all molded by outside factors and yadda yadda yadda. Still, I'm young and as such not quite defined in my own individuality yet, so yeah.

Speaking of which... Is English your native language? If it isn't I can't tell, and I was genuinely surprised when you mentioned where you live.

You'd be surprised at how many non-native English speakers are better at it than native English speakers. I've seen 14-year-olds from Europe speak and type better English than I do by a long shot lol
